University of Nicosia

The University of Nicosia (UNIC) is a prominent private institution in Cyprus, located in the capital city of Nicosia. With a diverse student body of over 12,000 students from more than 70 countries, UNIC is renowned for its multicultural environment and innovative education.

Founded in 2007, UNIC evolved from the Intercollege of Nicosia to establish itself as one of the leading universities in the region, with a campus spanning over 100,000 square meters.

As home to the largest medical school in Cyprus, UNIC offers three distinguished medical programs:

1. A six-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) for undergraduate entry.
2. A four-year Graduate Entry Doctor of Medicine (GEMD) designed for graduates from any field.
3. A four-year British Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), in collaboration with St George’s University of London, and accredited by the UK General Medical Council.
